Privacy: Lobo, Batangas

We traveled after a family wedding at around 9PM from Tagaytay to Batangas. It was such a bad and good idea.

Bad: For the roads we passed through we're dimmed and rough; And there was a poor network signal to call for help. Good: For we arrived at around 11PM and the party was just about to start. Unlimited bottles of smirnoff were ready to be chugged and JW was on it for shots. A little hotdog and grilled marshmallow; and a sizzling hot bon fire to start the weekend's escape.

Well, an hour of sleep after that night was enough just to see the scenic view of this private rest house. We failed to see the sunrise for we were at the other side of the mountain, but nevertheless, the view was breath taking. See for yourself. It felt like time slowed down for us to spend every minute savoring it; some played voleyball, the boys played basketball, others were droning and before we hit the dock (Oh! you really have to see the dock) we had a divine breakfast less the stress from the daily dose of work back in the city.

Satisfied?

Privacy indeed. With friends who'd readily jump off the dock's edge, swim, kayak, jetski and drink all day. This really was a private getaway. Don't worry, there are a lot of beach resorts nearby for you to have your private getaways. Laiya, Batangas, Philippines also offers a variety of beach resorts with such scenery and accomodations. Google it out!

Away from the hustle and bustle of being doctors, cheers to this weekend!
